If you have any version of your iPhone mobile device, follow these tips to configure your email as IMAP on it.

 

 

iPhone phones have the Mail application; you can configure your email. Here are the steps to receive your emails on your Apple mobile.

 

 

Configure automatically.

 

Mail can set it up automatically if you have an iCloud, Google, or Yahoo email account. You only need your email account and your password, so follow these steps:

 

1.- Go to Settings > Mail and touch Accounts.

 

 

2.- Touch Add account and then select your email provider.

3.- Enter your email address and password.

4.- If Next appears, touch Next and wait for Mail to verify your account.

5.- If Save appears, touch Save.

 

 

Configure manually.

 

You can set it up manually if you have an email provider that doesn″t appear in your iPhone settings. These are the steps you must follow:

 

1.- Go to Settings > Mail and touch Accounts.

2.- Touch Add account, touch Other and then touch Add account.

3.- Enter your name, email address, password, and account description.

 

 

4.- When you click next, the Mail application will try to find the email configuration; if this happens, you must touch accept to complete the design.

 

 

Configuration by IMAP

 

1.- There is a possibility that the Mail application does not find your email configuration, and if so, you can configure it by selecting the IMAP protocol. If you are unsure which one to choose, you can contact one of our TecWeb specialists; they will guide you.

 

2.- Enter the corresponding information in the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers. Then tap Next.

 

 

3.- If you have already reviewed all your information and it is correct, you can Save it. If the email configuration is incorrect, the system will ask you to modify it.
